Barry man found with methamphetamine after arrest on city street

BARRY, Ill. — A Barry man was arrested Sunday as he was walking along a city street.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department arrested Zachary N. Schwalb, 28, of Barry at 4:53 p.m. after observing him walking on Decatur Street in Barry. Schwalb was taken into custody on an active Pike County warrant. A subsequent search of Schwalb’s person revealed drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
Schwalb is lodged in the Pike County Jail.
