Barry man, woman in Pike County Jail facing multiple drug charges

BARRY, Ill. — A man and a woman from Barry are lodged in the Pike County Jail and face multiple drug charges.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and West Central Illinois Drug Task Force executed a court-authorized search warrant at 7:35 p.m. March 5 a residence in the 600 block of Tremont Street in Barry. Methamphetamine, digital scales, hypodermic syringes, methamphetamine related drug paraphernalia and a firearm were recovered.  

Brent E. Smith, 28, of Barry was arrested for the offenses of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Smith also was arrested on three Pike County, Ill., warrants.  

Jessie M. Grawe, 23, of Barry was arrested for the offenses of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes.
