Baylis man faces child porn, sexual abuse charges

On Thursday, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department arrested Stephen R. Howard, 39, of Baylis, Illinois on 14 counts of unlawful possession of child pornography and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The arrest stems from an on-going two month criminal investigation regarding photographing and videotaping an underaged juvenile.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
The case remains under investigation and additional charges are likely.
