QUINCY — Judge Tad Brenner set a $350,000 bond for a Quincy man allegedly involved in a weekend shooting in Downtown Quincy where two people were wounded.

Brendan M. Schroder, 18, appeared in Adams County Circuit Court Monday where the Adams County State’s Attorney’s office charged him with one count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, which is a Class 1 felony.

About 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Quincy Police officers responded to the parking lot behind Port’s Place, 510 Jersey, where a man and a woman had been shot. They were transported to and treated at Blessing Hospital.

Schroder allegedly fled the scene and was located by police in the 6th and Kentucky area. He remains in the Adams County Jail and his next scheduled court appearance is August 29.
