On 08/28/2022 at 11:32 AM Tammy L. Lewis of Mt. Sterling struck a deer in the roadway on CR 700 E. St.  No injuries were reported, and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.

On 08/22/2022 at 06:14 AM Jeffery K. Crafton of Jacksonville was issued citations for Speeding 71/55 MPH Zone and Driving While License Suspended/Revoked on Rt 99 @ CR 1050 E. and given a court date of 010/24/2022.
