On 10/31/2022 at 07:30 AM Stephen W. Perry of Timewell struck a deer on US 24 @ Cr 100E. No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.
On 11/02/2022 at 08:30 AM Russell E. Richard of Baylis struck a deer on US 24 one mile west of Ripley. No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.
On 11/03/2022 Lyle E. Welty Jr. of Industry struck a deer on IL 99. No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.
On 11/03/2022 at 06:23 PM Lori L. Monoky of Mt. Sterling struck a deer on 900E 0ne mile south US 24. No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was over $1500.
On 11/03/2022 at 1:41 PM a vehicle driven by Tonia J. Burkhart of Macomb struck a vehicle driven by Tracy Giles of Mt. Sterling on US 24/910E Street. A juvenile in Burkhart’s vehicle was taken by ambulance to Culbertson Hospital in Rushville. Burkhart was issued citations for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid Accident.
On 10/31/2022 at 02:40 PM Richard J. Chevalier of Belleville received a citation for Failure to Wear a Seatbelt on US 24 @ CR 1145N and was given a court date on 11/28/2022.
On 10/31/2022 at 03:37 PM Jerald D. White of Versailles was given a citation for Speeding 70/55 MPH Zone on IL 99 @ CR1465E and given a court date of 11/28/2022.
On 10/31/2022 at 04:09 PM Jamie L. Harris of Murrayville was given a citation for Failure to Wear a Seatbelt on IL 99 and given a court date of 11/28/2022.
On 11/01/2022 at 2:36 PM Andrew L. Turpen of Peoria was given a citation for Speeding 76/55 MPH Zone on US 24 and given a court date of 11/14/2022.
