On 05/10/2023 at 6:15 AM: Cody C. Benstine of Browning was westbound on US 24 2 miles east of Mt. Sterling when he crossed into the westbound lane, striking a vehicle driven by Rylee W. Rohn of Mt. Sterling. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicles was more than $1500.00. Benstine received citations for operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and driving under the influence. He was given a court date of 06/12/2023.
On 05/14/2023 at 6:20 AM: Brett Phillip Brown of Lewistown struck a deer on US 24 @ Ripley. Damage to the vehicle was more than $1500. No injuries were reported.
