Dallas City man arrested on methamphetamine charge after traffic stop
DALLAS CITY, Ill. — A traffic stop led to an arrest of a Dallas City man for possession of methamphetamine.
A deputy with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department observed a blue 2001 Chevrolet truck commit a traffic violation at the intersection of 3rd and Oak in Dallas City on May 10. A sheriff’s office canine was deployed and positively alerted on the truck.
The driver, Robbie L. Walker, 47, was found to be in possession of two glass smoking pipes which field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
Walker was placed under arrest and transported to the Hancock County Jail, where he was lodged.
