Kansas City man in Marion County Jail after allegedly threatening someone with hammer
HANNIBAL, Mo. — A Kansas City man is in the Marion County Jail after allegedly threatening someone with a hammer.
The 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant for Michael G. Beach, 37, on Thursday, Aug. 18. He is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
The charge stems from an incident that began at approximately 9:11 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 in the 100 block of Huckleberry Heights. Officers with the Hannibal Police Department were called to a disturbance between two males and determined Beach had threatened another male with a hammer. Beach was arrested without incident, and a hammer was recovered from the scene.
Beach was transported to the Marion County Jail, where he remains. His bond was set at $25,000. No injuries were reported from this incident.
