Man faces methamphetamine charge after domestic violence incident in Carthage
CARTHAGE, Ill. — A man was arrested Monday after a domestic violence incident and later charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine.
Hancock County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to assist the Carthage Police Department at 420 N. Marion at approximately 7:55 p.m. Upon arrival, officers completed an investigation into a domestic violence incident. Subsequent to a domestic violence arrest, a deputy searched Jordan T.A. Quintero and found methamphetamine in his pants pocket.
Quintero was transported to the Hancock County Jail. At the jail, contact was made with the Illinois Department of Corrections since Quintero is on mandatory supervised release. IDOC issued a warrant, and Quintero is held in custody.
