Nebo woman in Pike County Jail after meth found during traffic stop

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — A Nebo woman is lodged in the Pike County Jail on drug charges.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday on a maroon 2003 Buick near the intersection of North Monroe at East Perry in Pittsfield.

Subsequent to an investigation, the driver, Tabitha L. Mulford, 45, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine less than five grams and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  

The Pittsfield Police Department assisted with the investigation.
