Pearl man charged with failing to register as sex offender
PEARL, Ill. — David L. Allen, 48, of Pearl, was arrested by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department on May 14 and charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
The arrest was based on information provided by the public to the sheriff’s department. An investigation was conducted and forwarded for formal review to the Pike County State’s Attorney’s Office, which approved the charges and issued an arrest warrant.
Allen posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
