Pike County (IL) Sheriff makes multiple drug arrests
The Pike County Illinois Sheriff recently made four drug arrests.
On August 27 at 8:22 P.M., the Pike County (IL) Sheriff’s Department executed a court-authorized search warrant at 41096 340th Avenue, Griggsville, Illinois.
Following an investigation, Douglas D. Reese, 59, of Griggsville, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes, and unlawful possession of firearms by a felon.
Reese was lodged in the Pike County Jail.
On August 27 at 1:11 A.M., the Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on State Highway 106 near 475th Street east of Detroit, Illinois.
Subsequent to an investigation, the driver, Dakota L. Matthews, 22, of Roodhouse, Illinois was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful use of weapon.
Matthews was lodged in the Pike County Jail.
On August 26 , at 10:54 P.M., the Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on I-72 near milepost 20.
Subsequent to an investigation, Christy L. Bass, age 43, of Amarillo, Texas and Barry C. Washington, age 45, of Hart, Texas were arrested on active warrants out of McLean County, Illinois. Additionally, Bass and Washington were arrested on new charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes.
Both Bass and Washington were lodged in the Pike County Jail.
