Pleasant Hill man jailed for failing to register as murderer, violent offender against youth
PLEASANT HILL, Ill. — A Pleasant Hill man is in the Pike County Jail for failing to register as a murderer and violent offender against youth.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and Pleasant Hill Police Department initiated a criminal investigation in May 12. That investigation led to the May 19 arrest of Christian M. Beck, 22, on two counts of failure to register as a murderer and violent offender against youth.
Beck is on mandatory supervised release from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
