QUINCY — John Rokusek waived his preliminary hearing in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday and will be arraigned next month.

Rokusek, 59, of St. Louis, faces nine counts of unauthorized video recording people in the business he owned at 519 S. 18th in Quincy. He allegedly recorded more than 200 videos of people in a locker room/restroom area without their permission while they were showering or changing clothes during a span of nearly a year in 2020 and 2021.

After he waived his preliminary hearing, Judge Tad Brenner set the arraignment for April 20.

Rokusek was granted permission by the court to move to St. Louis and he remains free on bond.
