Terstriep has arraignment set for March
QUINCY — A Hull, Ill. man facing three felony counts related to a November 28 disturbance in Burton Township appeared in Adams County Circuit Court today and now faces a March arraignment.
Adam Terstriep, 35. briefly appeared before Judge Tad Brenner Monday afternoon to schedule the arraignment, which will be before Judge Amy Lannerd on March 8.
On Nov. 28, deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call for service at a residence in the Burton area. Deputies responded to the scene and investigated the report of a physical battery.
The caller reported Terstriep allegedly entered her home without permission and battered her for several hours until she escaped to a neighbor’s house and called 911. Terstriep was later found at his home, arrested and lodged in the Adams County Jail.
Terstriep was charged with home invasion, aggravated domestic battery strangulation and unlawful restraint. He is out on $60,000 bond.
