Three arrested in Pike County on methamphetamine-related charges
GRIGGSVILLE, Ill. — The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and West Central Illinois Drug Task Force recently arrested three people on methamphetamine related charges.
Deputies with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop at 8:11 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of West Quincy Street in Griggsville. Subsequent to an investigation, the driver, Phillip L. Embree, 31, of Perry was arrested on charges of unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine (5-15 grams), unlawful possession of cannabis over 100 grams and unlawful possession of weapon by a felon.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and West Central Illinois Task Force followed up with the investigation and conducted a court-authorized search warrant in the 100 block of Main Street in Perry. Justin L. Lockhart, 33, of Pittsfield was arrested on two outstanding Pike County, Illinois, warrants and on an original charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
A second person, Jessica M. Lynch, 29, of Perry was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
All three remain lodged in the Pike County Jail.
