Traffic stop in Pike County lands Pittsfield man in jail charges with two drug possession charges

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — The Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on March 16 on Jefferson Street near Memorial Street in Pittsfield on a gray 1990 Ford truck.

After an investigation, the driver, Douglas M. Bolk, 38, of Pittsfield was arrested on a charge of driving while license revoked and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Bolk was lodged in the Pike County Jail.
