Two arrested following weekend fight in Pleasant Hill
Just before midnight on September 11, Pike County (IL) 911 received several calls regarding a large fight at the Pike County Government Housing on Pierce Road in Pleasant Hill, Illinois. The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and Pleasant Hill Police Department responded.
Upon arriving on scene, law enforcement officials discovered the fight included weapons such as a knife, hatchet, and taser. Arrested as result of the investigation was Michael K. Wilfong, 39, of Pleasant Hill, Illinois on the following charges:
- Domestic Battery
- Domestic Battery
- Unlawful Use of Weapon
- Aggravated Assault
- Unlawful Gift or Sale of Alcohol to a Minor
Also arrested was Charles M. Boyd, 19, of Louisiana, Missouri on the following charges:
- Domestic Battery
- Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
Both Wilfong and Boyd were arrested without incident and transported to the Pike County Jail.
