Warsaw man faces methamphetamine charges after early Thursday arrest

HAMILTON, Ill. — A traffic stop at approximately 12:30 a.m. Thursday led to a methamphetamine arrest. 

A Hancock County sheriff’s deputy was on patrol in Hamilton and conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Mitsubishi for a traffic violation. A passenger, Bradford D. Howren, 38, of Warsaw was found to have an active Hancock County arrest warrant for failing to appear on an original charge of driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured vehicle. 

Howren also was found in possession of over five grams of methamphetamine. 

Howren was arrested and transported to the Hancock County Jail. The driver was released.

Howren’s bond was set at $15,000. He posted the required 10 percent and was released. Howren also was released on his own recognizance for the arrest warrant.
