Warsaw man facing drug charges after Thursday arrest
WARSAW, Ill. — A Warsaw man was arrested Thursday and is facing drug charges.
Hancock County dispatch received at approximately 11:25 a.m. Thursday a report of three people in a residence with guns threatening a resident at 420 N. Fifth in Warsaw.
Deputies from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department arrived, cleared the residence and found the complaint to be unfounded. They interviewed the resident, Jason M. Thurman, 41, and found him to be under the influence of a stimulant which was causing paranoia. A subsequent search of the residence revealed drug paraphernalia and less than 5 grams of methamphetamine.
Thurman was arrested and transported to the Hancock County Jail.
