Bryan Schullian was born and raised on a family grain and cattle farm near Quincy. As a student at Liberty High School, he was very active in sports and FFA. Leadership and serving as an officer drove most of his interest in the organization serving as the Section 11 President and then the 2005-2006 Illinois Association FFA State Secretary.

Bryan graduated from John Wood Community College and then transferred to Western Illinois University. Upon graduation, he was hired as the Agriculture Educator at Southeastern High School where he taught for 11 years. Bryan currently coaches’ basketball and serves as the agriculture educator and FFA advisor at Southeastern High School.

Growing up on a grain and cattle farm, Bryan’s father showed discipline and work ethic. He was passionate about agriculture and instilled that in Bryan and his three sisters. Then, as an active agriculture education student under the advising of Mr. Steve Buyck (Liberty), Bryan realized the joy he had for teaching and developing students in the National FFA Organization. These two men really encouraged Bryan’s passion for agriculture and agriculture education.
