Dot Transportation, Inc. selected as one of the ‘World’s Greatest!’; TV show feature coming next two Saturdays
MOUNT STERLING, Ill. — Dot Transportation, Inc., the trucking affiliate of Dot Foods, Inc., North America’s largest food industry redistributor, has been selected as one of the “World’s Greatest!…” in the trucking industry. It will be featured on the award-winning, national television show at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, and Saturday, Sept. 24 on the Bloomberg network.
“We are really excited to have been selected and profiled as an industry leader,” Bryan Langston, DTI president, said in a press release. “The people at DTI — from our drivers to all the teams that support them — are an amazing group. Being a part of the show is a fun and different way to showcase and acknowledge our people and our incredible culture at DTI. It’s the hard work of our drivers and support staff that has made us the greatest carrier out there.”
Produced by How2Media, “World’s Greatest!…” has aired for the last 16 years highlighting the world’s greatest companies, products, places and people. Each 30-minute show is a fast-paced tour around the world featuring behind-the-scenes footage, informative interviews, and exciting visuals. Each year, the “World’s Greatest!…” team researches more than 75,000 businesses in hundreds of industries worldwide to determine which companies are the best of the best.
The How2Media crew visited DTI’s headquarters in Mount Sterling, in July to shoot the segment. To learn more about DTI on the “World’s Greatest! …” visit DriveForDTI.com/Worlds-Greatest.com.
“Tuning in on September 17 or 24 will give you a look behind the curtain at DTI, and you will see what makes us stand out from other carriers,” Langston said. “Most importantly, you’ll get a chance to meet some of the incredible people who make our company so great.”
This is the second national profile piece on DTI this year. DTI was featured this spring on “Military Makeover: Operation Career” on the Lifetime Network. Hosted by Montel Williams, the show captures the stories of veterans who have transitioned out of the military and back to civilian life and profiles companies that support and hire them.
