Quincy University homecoming weekend set for Sept. 22-25
QUINCY – Quincy University will have its annual homecoming weekend Sept. 22-25, with numerous events planned for alumni, students and the community.
Festivities kick-off on Thursday, Sept. 22, with the homecoming parade, pep rally and the annual balloon glow event.
Weekend events include favorites like the Chuck French Memorial Golf Tournament, the QU baseball golf outing, men and women’s soccer games, bar crawl, QU Hawk tailgating and the homecoming football game.
The annual alumni dinner recognizing the 2022 reunion classes of 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017 will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 in the Hall of Fame Room. The university also will recognize its alumni of the year and recipients of the Franciscan Award and Rising Hawk award.
