Adams County Bicentennial commemorative coins available at five Liberty Bank locations

ADAMS COUNTY, Ill. — The Adams County Bicentennial Commission recently released an official commemorative coin in honor of the county’s 200th anniversary. These brass-plated coins have an antique finish and are now available for purchase.

Each coin features a distinguished image of John Quincy Adams, the sixth president of the United States and the county’s namesake, on one side. The reverse showcases the official Adams County Bicentennial logo along with the phrases “Founded January 18, 1825” and “Two Hundred Years of Progress.”

These coins commemorate the county’s history and its continued legacy of growth and achievement.

Commemorative coins are $25 each and are available for purchase at these Liberty Bank locations:

  • Quincy – 4134 Broadway.
  • Liberty – 1002 N. Main.
  • Payson – 402 W. State.
  • Ursa (North Adams) – 114 N. Warsaw.
  • Camp Point (North Adams) – 213 W. Wood.

Coins may also be purchased at the Adams County Courthouse, 507 Vermont in Quincy.
