Adams County Clerk’s office open for Saturday early voting in consolidated primary election

QUINCY — Adams County Clerk Ryan A. Niekamp says his office will be open for early voting from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 22, for the consolidated primary election for the City of Quincy.
“This is a great opportunity for voters to cast their ballots at a time that is convenient for them,” Niekamp said in a press release. “The process is quick and easy, taking just a few minutes.”
Voters are reminded that because this is a primary election, they must declare a party affiliation when voting.
Additionally, Niekamp urges all voters who have requested a vote-by-mail ballot to ensure they are postmarked by Tuesday, Feb. 25, or dropped off at the County Clerk’s drop box by 7 p.m. on election day for them be counted. As of now, 276 vote-by-mail ballots remain outstanding.
