Adams County Health Department to limit testing only for Adams County residents

Adams-County-Health-Department

QUINCY — Recent increases in demand for COVID-19 testing, as well as less stable allocation of testing supplies, have forced the Adams County Health Department’s COVID-19 testing center to now only serve residents of Adams County, Illinois. This change begins Monday.

Residents of the county who want to be tested for COVID-19 should bring a photo ID with current local address or other proof of Adams County residency. Department officials do not anticipate expansion of testing services to non-county residents in the future. People who are not Adams County residents should seek testing through their local medical provider, pharmacy or health department.
