Adams County residents can dispose of potentially addictive medications at Saturday event

QUINCY — Adams County residents can safely and securely dispose of potentially addictive prescription medications during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The drive-thru event is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Adams County Health Department, 330 Vermont. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is in collaboration with the Quincy Police Department. 

This event offers an opportunity for Adams County residents to properly dispose of medications no longer needed or expired, including potentially addictive prescription opioids. Items that cannot be accepted at this event are syringes, needles or other sharps and liquid medications.
