Adams County Sheriff’s Office starting campaign to promote Facebook page
QUINCY — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has started a campaign to promote its Facebook page.
“Things to Know From ASCO” will highlight the sheriff’s office’s involvement in community events, crime prevention, employment opportunities at the sheriff’s office, recovered pets and community safety projects.
The first highlighted initiative is the “9 p.m. check.” The sheriff’s office will be posting on its Facebook page at 9 p.m. for the rest of October a reminder for county residents to secure their homes, remove their valuables from vehicles, garages or yards, lock their vehicles and close and secure garages and outbuildings.
