Commitment Weekend set for Saturday, Sunday to support Quincy Notre Dame Fund Drive
QUINCY — Parishioners of Quincy and Hannibal’s Catholic churches will be asked to contribute funds to the Quincy Notre Dame Fund Drive during the school’s Commitment Weekend on March 5-6. More than 4,000 Catholic families will hear testimonies from QND students during Mass and be asked for pledges and donations.
This year’s fund drive has a goal of $460,500. The QND Fund Drive has raised more than $17 million since 1977.
The fund drive continues to help finance the school’s daily operations, defray the cost of tuition and provide financial aid to families. It bridges the gap between the cost to educate and the tuition charged per student.
This year’s fund drive launched on Jan. 21. More than $125,000 has been pledged to date, representing 28 percent of the total goal.
Donations to Quincy Notre Dame can be made by using Venmo, making an online gift or by contacting Kurt Stuckman, executive director of the QND Foundation, at 217-224-2598 or kstuckman@quincynotredame.org.
