Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church to be site of inaugural Koins for Kids event on Saturday
LIBERTY, Ill. — Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church is hosting the first Koins for Kids event at its 1103 E. 1700th location, one mile from Quincy Regional Airport, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.
This event will serve as a fundraiser for child-based missions across the area. Koins for Kids will have many theme baskets donated by church members and companies in the surrounding areas.
“We are excited to bring a fun, family-friendly event to the area,” Marty Pressey, pastor at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, said in a press release. “This event is special because not only does it encourage you to join in fellowship with those around you, but we’re also donating all proceeds to local child-based missions, which makes it that much more special.”
Doors will open at 5 p.m. A meal consisting of maid-rites, chips, dessert and soda will be available for $5 before the event begins.
