55th annual Mississippi Valley Historic Auto Club car show set for Sunday at Quincy Museum

QUINCY — The Mississippi Valley Historic Auto Club is sponsoring its 55th annual car show from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, on the grounds of the Quincy Museum, 1601 Maine. The show is open to the public. There is no charge for admission to the car show.

The Quincy Museum will have lunch available and will be offering 1/2-price admission to the museum.

All proceeds from the car show registration fee, raffle prizes and 50/50 drawing will benefit the museum.  

The MVHAC Car Show attracts collector cars and trucks from throughout the region. Trophies are awarded to “Today’s Top 20,” and a “People’s Choice” trophy is awarded by the Quincy Museum.  Car show participants are asked to register from 9-11:30 a.m. Information is available at: https://www.facebook.com/AntiqueAutoMuseum/

Membership in The Mississippi Valley Historic Auto Club is open to anyone with an interest in historic cars, whether they own one or not.  Meetings are held the first Monday of the month and usually consist of supper, swapping stories about old cars, and planning or talking about car shows.
