Adams County CEO program helping wrap gifts on three Sundays in December

QUINCY — Adams County CEO students have teamed up with JustTasking, new local task service network, to offer a gift-wrapping business, Santa’s Elves, during the holidays through Dec. 18. People can have their presents wrapped by Santa’s Elves for a small fee.

Gift wrapping prices will vary depending on size of the present, if wrapping paper is provided and if pick
up or delivery is requested. Customers can schedule drop off at no fee. Drop off dates are Sundays, Dec. 4, 11 and 18 from 1-5 p.m. at 833 Van Buren (the garage across from Quincy Notre Dame’s baseball field).

In a press release, Jarid Jones, founder and CEO of JustTasking said, “We’re excited for the opportunity to beta test our platform with young entrepreneurs in the area before an official launch. Working with the Adams County CEO students on ‘Santa’s Elves’ is what JustTasking is all about. We hope to give people an opportunity to support these young entrepreneurs and provide an idea of how JustTasking can promote essential skills while supporting independent contractors and small owners.”

“JustTasking is going to be a good tool for our small business to use,” said Dalton Miller, president of Santa’s Elves. “The friendly JustTasking interface will make customer service easier. We look forward to the possibilities of what our business can bring to our community as we head into the holiday season.”

The JustTasking platform is in a recruitment stage of users and taskers and hopes to launch a complete network of services in early 2023.
