ADM Quincy volunteers to pack meals for Feed the Funnel event Wednesday

QUINCY — To provide meals to families in need, more than 60 ADM Quincy-based volunteers from ADM Quincy Oilseeds, ADM Quincy Animal Nutrition and Quincy Crosswinds, in conjunction with JM Huber and Ingersoll-Rand, will package 50,000 meals for local food banks.

The event, titled Feed the Funnel, a trademark of The Pack Shack, will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.

The Pack Shack’s mission is to supply provisions and opportunities for neighbors in need. The organization increases awareness about food security issues affecting communities; provides food and other items to local nonprofits; and encourages people to get involved with the local nonprofits serving their neighbors.
