Blessing Health encouraging men to make reservation for no-cost men’s health screening on June 22

QUINCY — Area men are invited to start their day in a healthy way on Thursday, June 22, by participating in a no-cost men’s health screening at Blessing Hospital.

A reservation between 7 and 9 a.m. will be required. Reservations can be made beginning Monday, May 22, by calling 217-277-5000, or going online to events.blessinghealth.org.

The screening will require a 12-hour fast for a cholesterol test that will measure LDL, HDL and total cholesterol, triglycerides, and fasting glucose. The appointment will also include a prostate screening and related Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test and a blood pressure screening.
