QUINCY — Blessing Health System continued its long-time support of Quincy Catholic Charities MedAssist program with a $10,000 donation on March 3. 

As many as 18 million American cannot afford their prescription medications. The MedAssist advocate works with patients, their healthcare providers and the financial assistance programs of pharmaceutical companies to secure prescription medication for long-term needs. For immediate needs, MedAssist provides financial assistance to people for medication costs and co-payments.
