Blessing Hospital earns national High Performing Hospital recognition from U.S. News & World Report

QUINCY — U.S. News & World Report, known for its annual hospital ratings and rankings, has named Blessing Hospital as a 2023-24 High Performing Hospital in the following care areas:

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
  • Colon cancer surgery
  • Diabetes
  • Heart attack
  • Heart failure
  • Stroke

This is the fifth year Blessing Hospital has been recognized as a High Performing Hospital, the highest recognition in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Procedural & Conditions rankings. The recognition reflects delivery of care determined to be significantly better than the national average as measured by factors such as patient outcomes and patient experience.

Fewer than half of the 4,500 hospitals evaluated across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions received a High Performing rating.

The rankings are designed to assist patients and their providers in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
