Cop on a Rooftop event Friday at Dunkin’ Donuts to benefit Special Olympics Illinois

QUINCY — The 20th annual “Cop on a Rooftop” event to benefit Special Olympics Illinois will take place from 5 a.m.-noon Friday, May 19.

Local law enforcement will be on the roof at Quincy’s Dunkin’ Donuts, 2602 Broadway, to help raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics athletes. The local goal is to raise $4,000.

Guests who donate will receive a coupon for a free donut. Guests who donate $10 or more will receive a commemorative travel mug and a coupon for a free medium hot coffee.

Torch Run shirts will be available for purchase. Checks can be made payable to “Special Olympics IL.” Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
