Get picture taken with Santa during Thursday event at JWCC

QUNCY — John Wood Community College’s Student Life organization is sponsoring its annual Pictures with Santa event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Spring Valley Trails at the Quincy campus, 1301 S. 48th, in the rear parking lot behind campus.

The cost is $5 per child and includes a picture with Santa, hot chocolate and s’mores. For $1 more, families can purchase extra s’mores or hot chocolate.

Children are welcome to visit Santa and have their photos taken with him. JWCC will take pictures and post the photos on the college’s Facebook page. By attending this event, attendees agree to have their likeness recorded for possible college use. Parents and guardians are welcome to take their photos as well.

This event offers family fun for everyone with Santa around a campfire. Proceeds will benefit JWCC student activities. For more information, contact JWCC coordinator of Student Life Eric Foster at studentlife@jwcc.edu.
