Illinois State Police announces roadside safety check results in Adams County

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — Illinois State Police District 20 Commander Capt. Jody Huffman recently released the results of a roadside safety check in Adams County from late night Wednesday, Oct. 26, to early morning Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022. The check was conducted at intersection of 30th and State in Quincy by District 20 officers.

- Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Citations 1
- Other Alcohol/Drug Citations 3
- Occupant Restraint Offenses 0
- Registration Offenses 4
- Driver’s License Offenses 11
- Insurance Violations 2
- Total Citations/Arrests 13
- Total Written Warnings 17
Alcohol and drug impairment are factors in more than 30 percent of all fatal motor vehicle crashes in Illinois. This project was funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
