JWCC to host Mini Blazers cheerleading camp Sunday before men’s basketball game
QUINCY — The John Wood Community College cheer team is hosting its annual Mini Blazers cheerleading camp for area youngsters from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in the Student Activity Center gymnasium on the Quincy campus, 48th and Harrison.
The camp is open to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Participants will learn the basics of cheerleading and dance and perform during halftime of the men’s basketball game at 2 p.m.
The $20 registration fee includes a T-shirt and entry to the basketball game for the participant and guardian. To guarantee a free T-shirt, you must register at https://www.jwcc.edu/cheer-camp.
