Part of Locust Street to be closed for about a month

Beginning Friday, Locust Street will be closed to through traffic from North 12^th to North 18^th. 

The intersection of 16th & Locust will be completely closed for the replacement of water mains and sewers in the intersection. Closure is scheduled to last until July 16.

This closure is part of the North 16^th reconstruction project from Locust to Seminary Road.

Motorists are asked to utilize Seminary Road as a detour if you’re driving in that area. Large trucks are asked to stay on state highways when possible.
