Luther Memorial Church to hold chili cook-off fundraiser March 25; deadline to enter is March 22

QUINCY — Luther Memorial Church will hold a chili cookoff fundraiser at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. Ticket price for admission to the cookoff is $5 and will include tasting all the entries, a hot dog and a beverage. Fresh baked goods will be available for purchase as well as raffle tickets for a $100 gift card basket. 

Voting for the best chili will end at 6 p.m. The winner of the cookoff and raffle will be announced at 6:30 p.m. A $50 cash prize will be awarded to the cook with the best chili as voted on by all in attendance. 

Registration to enter the competition can be completed online at www.lmcquincy.org or by downloading the entry form from the website and mailing it to the church. The entry fee is $20 and can be paid online or mailed to the Luther Memorial Church office, 1210 Jersey, Quincy, Illinois 62301. The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 22.  All proceeds will benefit the LMC youth mission trip to Parsons, Kan.
