Make Christmas tree ornaments at Tri-State Area Center for Women’s Ministries Second Tuesday program
QUINCY — The Second Tuesday of the Month program for July will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the Center for Women’s Ministries location at 522 S. Eighth.
The July craft will be making a Christmas tree ornament with Brenda Lagan, lifestyle coordinator at Adams Pointe Assisted Living since 2017. She previously was employed by the Illinois Veterans Home for 35 years until her retirement in 2016.
This event has limited seating. Reservations are appreciated.
Another event that occurs every Tuesday at the center is Cup of Grace. This group meets from 10 a.m.-noon and again from 6-7:30 p.m. Stop by for a cup of coffee and a little fellowship. Open hours are 9 a.m.-noon and 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays or by appointment.
Tri-State Area Center for Women’s Ministries is a non-profit inter-denominational peer counseling ministry for women and girls (ages 18 and up) which helps women focus on emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. Services offered are one-on-one peer counseling, support groups, study groups, workshops and prayer support. CWM provides complete confidentiality in a non-judgmental atmosphere, making it a safe place to begin to deal with those hurts.
