Handmade wares to be on sale during Makers Market along Sixth Street on Saturday

QUINCY — Quincy Brewing Company will host the hippest handmade outdoor market, Makers Market, from 1-7 p.m. Saturday, June 18 on Sixth Street between Maine and Hampshire and down Jail Alley.

The outdoor market will feature more than 35 different vendors selling furniture, clothing, accessories, food, apothecary, ceramics, art, books, candles, vintage upcycled wares and more.

The Quincy Children’s Museum, Quincy Public Library and Kroc Center will offer hands-on activities for kids. Live music will serenade the public starting with Stuart Smith Music from Jacksonville from 1-3 p.m., Levi & Jacqueline from 3-5 p.m. and Lucas Sanor on saxophone from 5-7 p.m.

Chris Scholz will display his sidewalk chalk throughout the day, and henna tattoos will be available from artist Mika Love. Food trucks will be on hand.
