Program about recovering from losses in life starts April 7 at Center for Women’s Ministries

QUINCY — April 7th is the start of a 10-week study entitled Recovering From Losses in Life offered at the Tri-State Area Center for Women’s Ministries, 522 S. Eighth, a non-profit inter-denominational peer counseling ministry for women and girls (ages 18 and up) which helps women focus on emotional, mental and spiritual wellness.

Life is marked by a variety of losses. Participants will have the opportunity to express and share grief as well as discuss ways to move forward. This group will benefit anyone for any type of loss. Reservations appreciated.

Other services offered are one-on-one peer counseling, support groups, study groups, workshops and prayer support. CWM provides confidentiality in a non-judgmental atmosphere.

CWM’s Second Tuesdays of the Month program is at 5:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month with crafts, speakers and fellowship. Create a spring painting in April with Durinda Meyer. Also, every Tuesday is Cup of Grace from 10:00 a.m. to noon and from 6-7:30 pm. Stop by for a cup of coffee and fellowship.
