QUINCY — The Quincy High School Beta Club recently presented a check to Quincy Medical Group’s Cancer Crush Fundraiser for $3,500.

Club members worked with the school’s track and field team and sold water bottles, T-shirts and asked for donations at the meet held at Flinn Stadium on April 27th. The club also personally asked businesses if they would donate by giving them a fundraiser form and committing to a certain amount. If the business donated more than $200, their name was put on the back of the T-shirts. They also got free admission into the track meet.
