QHS homecoming parade taking different route on Thursday; pep rally set for 6:30 p.m.

QUINCY — Quincy High School Student Council has announced this year’s homecoming parade will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.

The parade will take a new route this year. It will begin at Quincy Junior High School and proceed east on Maine to 33rd Street.

This year’s theme is “A Night Under the Stars.” A pep rally will held in Blue Devil Gym at Baldwin School immediately after the parade. The public is encouraged to attend and should sit in the upper bleachers on the west side of the gym.

In case of a rainout for the parade, the pep rally will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Blue Devil gym.
