Quincy Public Library online auction scheduled for Monday through Saturday

QUINCY — The Mary Weems Barton Quincy Public Library Foundation is announcing its Quincy Public Library online auction, scheduled to run Monday through Saturday, May 15-20.

The online auction will feature an extensive selection of items donated by community members, local businesses and library supporters. Participants can to find items ranging from weekend getaways, local business certificates, group experiences and luxury baskets. 

In a press release, executive director Kathleen Helsabeck said, “We are delighted to be the host our first-ever online auction, which will serve as a fundraiser for the mobile library project. Not only will this help us bring the mobile library to Quincy, but it allows the community to help QPL in supporting our mission and values.”

QPL has partnered with online auction platform GiveButter to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for participants. Bidders can browse the catalog and place their bids from the comfort of home.
