Quincy Service League to award seven $1,000 scholarships; deadline to apply is April 1
QUINCY — Quincy Service League is offering seven $1,000 scholarships to residents of Adams County. Applicants may either be traditional or non-traditional students seeking to further their education at a two-year college, four-year college or vocational/technical education.
Scholarship applications are online at www.quincyserviceleague.org and must be postmarked by April 1. For more information or questions, contact scholarship chairperson Misty Scott at qslscholarship@gmail.com.
Founded in 1938, the Quincy Service League strives to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, cultural and civic conditions of the community; to encourage women to actively participate in raising the standards and promoting human welfare; to emphasize their place is one of actual partnership and cooperation with their community, instead of one of arbitrary giving.
